Our story

Two sisters, Georgie and Sally, along with one daughter, Harriet, collaborate with
a single mission: delivering beautiful and deceptively real jewellery.

We, Georgie and Sally, spent our formative years surrounded by  jewellery.  Our Father was in the business and he and his siblings always had a pocket full of diamonds or a tray of precious gems - some legitimate, others maybe not so much!  Either way, being surrounded by jewels was nothing out of the ordinary for us - just sort of how things were.

Roll forward a decade or two and we had been victim to an armed robbery and after the family business closed, began to appreciate how expensive real gems can be.  Not only to buy, but to insure - and of course we had been taught a stark lesson in the risks of owning and wearing expensive pieces.

And so Sexton Blake was born… taking inspiration from our Father’s roots in London's East End in the 50s and 60s,  Sexton Blake is cockney rhyming slang for fake. 

With Georgie’s daughter Harriet (who seems to have inherited our love for all things glittery) we want to bring you jewellery that is beautifully crafted with the best materials we can source - that looks so like the real thing that people will ask “is it real, or is it Sexton Blake?
